Rainy Day/Inclement Weather Dismissal

Deep Run Elementary will follow regular dismissal procedures in the rain.  Walkers will continue to walk out the front side doors (PreK, K and 1) and main front doors (2, 3, 4, 5) when it is raining.  Car riders will also follow regular procedures and wait by the car lane to be picked up.  If a student is not sure if they are a walker or car rider in the rain, we will have the student walk out to the front area of the school.  If a parent is not there, the student will be brought to stand by the car lane. The only time a change in these procedures will be made will be when the weather is unsafe at dismissal.
