Message from the Health Room: Fevers

Fri, 11/10/2017 - 9:51am

Fevers make you feel Hot, Hot, Hot!
Here in the health room we are seeing an increase in fevers. It is not uncommon for this time of year but we would like to send you a few reminders.
· If your child has a temperature greater than 100.0F they need to stay home
· If your child has a fever in the night and you give them medication, they must stay home from school the next day.
· Your child must remain home until they are fever free without fever reducing medications (ie: Tylenol or Motrin) for 24 hours.
· Once your child returns to school, please provide a note so their absences can be excused.
As always, if you have any questions regarding our health room policies we can be reached at 410-313-5051 or Adriane_Breck@hcpss.org.
