Pink Out Day on Friday, October 26

Thu, 10/18/2018 - 9:22pm

Wear pink, red or white next Friday, October 26 to celebrate kindness and raise awareness for anti-bullying efforts. Bullying is defined as intentional, repeated actions meant to hurt another person. In bullying scenarios, most children find themselves in the position of "bystander," someone who stands by and doesn't know what to say or do when they see bullying occur. All month long, DRES students have participated in anti-bullying lessons with our school counselors. Students learned what to say and do to be "upstanders" when they see bullying occur. For more information on bullying prevention and response, visit these resources or reach out to Mrs. Wohnsigl and Miss Weaver, school counselors.
