Halloween was celebrated at the Trunk or Treat last night. There will be no Halloween events taking place during the school day on October 29th and students should not wear costumes to school.
PTA Trunk or Treat--A Huge Success!
DRES is in the process of hiring temporary employee positions for the remainder of the 21 - 22 school year. We are looking for caring and compassionate individuals to assist students with disabilities who require direct adult supervision throughout the school day. The position works under the direction of a special education teacher and/or a classroom teacher.

Weis4School--Sign Up to Support Deep Run
We are partnering with Weis Markets in the Weis 4 School program. By participating in this program, we can earn money for our school simply by shopping as we all do every day. When you shop at Weis, scan the barcode below to register your Weis Club Card. Once you register, you're in the program and do not need to register again. Staff Appreciation Throughout the Year

Volunteer/Observer Vaccine Requirement
Effective Monday, Oct. 25, all volunteers and chaperones who interact with students, and parents/guardians who are conducting classroom observations will be required to use the PinPoint platform to show proof of full vaccination at least five school days in advance. Read more
Covid-19 Self Screenings
All parents/guardians are to perform a COVID-19 health check every day before your student leaves home. Students are not to come to school if they are experiencing any symptom(s) associated with COVID-19 or other communicable disease.

This resource is helpful for navigating the school year and includes information about HCPSS practices, policies and services available to support and enrich learning.
