Deep Run is proud to participate in this year's White Cane Day on Thursday, October 15th. White Cane Day is an official day of recognition for the contributions made by members of our nation's blind and visually impaired community. Deep Run students will mark this day by taking part in awareness activites designed to help them cultivate a better appreciation and respect for students who are blind or visually impaired. Class discussions and lessons wil take place throughout the day in various classrooms. We look forward to educating our students about the possibilities for all learners and individuals!
