Virtual PTA Meeting with the Family Institute on October 19th from 7-8

PTA and the Family Involvement Team are coming together for our October 19th PTA meeting!  We are happy to share that we have a  guest speaker from the Family Institute who will be hosting a VIRTUAL event for all Howard County families.

About the event:
Changes occur with your child as they grow and develop in the elementary years. Children fluctuate between independence and dependence and the combination can bring a wide range of behavior issues and parental frustration. Learn to understand how to help your 5 to 12 year old:

  • Set the stage to create positive situations for empowerment and pride
  • Develop consequences that work
  • Gain strategies to handle oppositional behaviors
  • Learn strategies for better homework habits

Join us October 19th from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm using this link: https://howardcountymd.webex.com/howardcountymd/j.php?MTID=m287b8d2051d6a28adc72d16a1bed8c72
