We appreciate your patience with arrival and dismissal. Please read and follow these reminders to ensure safety for your children.
Arrival: we have a large number of stuents arriving too early for school. School staff go outside at 9:05 and the doors open at 9:10. Please do not drop your children off before 9:05.
Dismissal: School ends at 3:55. Please arrive to school on time to pick up your child. All cars are through the car loop at 4:15. If you drive, please be in the car loop by 4:10.
Also, dogs are not allowed on school property.
Girls on the Run 5K on Sunday
A large group of Deep Run 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade girls will be running a 5K at Deep Run on Sunday, November 14th at 8am. Please come to school and cheer on our amazing girls!
Family Fun Night--BINGO
November 12th
Doors open at 6:30, BINGO begins at 7:00
Masks are required and there will be no food.
School Picture Re-Take Day--November 30th
Parents will soon receive the school pictures that were ordered in October. There will be an opportunity for re-takes on November 30th. There is also an opportunity to order additional pictures. Click here for more information. When entering student information, parents should be sure to enter the student's name as it is on file at the school.
Parent Teacher Conferences
HCPSS will continue to use your HCPSS Connect/Family File account to schedule Parent Teacher Conferences. Teachers will be holding virtual ELA conferences on Monday, November 22nd, and Tuesday, November 23rd, following early dismissal for students. Beginning Monday, November 8th, and continuing through next Thursday, November 18th, you can log on to HCPSS Connect at www.hcpss.org/connect to access Synergy Conference Management. You can then choose your desired conference time from the teacher’s availability. Please see the included directions to schedule your conference. Parents needing assistance should contact our front office staff at 410-313-5000.

Quarter 1 Report Cards
Report cards are available via HCPSS Connect Synergy. Parents/guardians may access them following the instructions for accessing report cards online. Answers to frequently asked questions on grades and testing can be found online.

Staff Appreciation Throughout the Year
Parents often ask what they can do to support their child's teachers as well as the other staff at Deep Run. A small snack item is always appreciated! Volunteer/Observer Vaccine Requirement
All volunteers and chaperones who interact with students, and parents/guardians who are conducting classroom observations will be required to use the PinPoint platform to show proof of full vaccination at least five school days in advance. Read more
Covid-19 Self Screenings
All parents/guardians are to perform a COVID-19 health check every day before your student leaves home. Students are not to come to school if they are experiencing any symptom(s) associated with COVID-19 or other communicable disease.
