The School-Based Wellness Centers Telemedicine Program has changed medical providers for students whose primary care provider is not in the telemedicine network. Due to the COVID pandemic, Howard County General Hospital physicians are unable to continue to provide care and Columbia Medical Practice-Pediatrics providers will see ill and injured students starting on October 11. Children who are part of the Klebanow and Associates practice will continue to receive their school-based telemedicine care from them. Columbia Medical Practice will bill the child’s health insurance company, but will not charge a co-pay or bill a family for any unpaid portion of the bill. Please contact Sharon Hobson, the School-Based Wellness Centers Program administrator, at shobson@howardcountymd.gov if you have questions.
