Dear DRES Families,
We are pleased to inform you that Deep Run Elementary School will be implementing an option available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs called the Community
This is great news for you and your students, since all enrolled students at these schools are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge each day of the 2024-2025 school year.
Students will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit a FARM’s application in School Year 2024-2025. However, to be eligible for other opportunities within the school system, a Free and Reduced-price Meals (FARM”s) application may need to be completed by families and households. These other opportunities are listed on the HCPSS website.
Food and Nutrition Service will be informing all households of participating students at you schools, regardless of application or household income, of the free meal status that is available through the program.
