Dear Families,
This year, our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders will be participating in the Deep Run Fall Fun Run on Thursday, October 23rd!
During this event, students will demonstrate their ability to monitor their heart rate through pacing. Each student will have 20 minutes to complete as many laps as they can -- each lap is 1/5 of a mile.
π The class with the highest average number of laps will receive a plaque, and
π All participating students will receive a Fall Fun Run wristband!
Please make sure your child wears sneakers that day.
Students will:
All classes will report to the gym prior to the race for instruction.
Be escorted to the Deep Run Park baseball field for the run.
Return to the gym after the race to watch a movie and cool down.
π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦ Families are encouraged to come and cheer!
If you plan to attend, please sign in at the front office before heading to the gym or the field.

5th Grade: 9:40-10:40
4th Grade: 10:50-11:50
3rd Grade: 11:50-12:50
