Did You Miss Parent Connect About Social Emotional Learning?

Did you miss our Parent Connect about our Social Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum on March 15th? Covid-19 Ask the Experts

Tentative Last Day of School

As of Wednesday, March 16, 2022, HCPSS has used four inclement weather days this school year and made up one of those days by opening schools February 21. As such, the last day for pre-K/RECC students is currently Tuesday, June 14, and for K-12 students is Friday, June 17, 2022. Full details on the calendar are available online.

Maryland Game Night March 23rd at 6:30

Please join us for Maryland Game night!  Students and their families will participate in math and reading games about Maryland.  These games will be interactive and will be adapted to various levels. This evening is designed for students and parent/guardian to play together.  Please complete this form if you plan on attending with your family.

Young Authors' Contest Winner from Deep Run!

Congratulations to Yayin in first grade for writing the winning entry for the Howard County Young Authors' Contest for 1st Grade Poetry, A Spooky Halloween Night!   The names of all winners are posted on the Howard County Literacy Association website.

Kindergarten Registration Began March 7th

Children must be 5 years old by September 1 in order to enroll in kindergarten. Every child who is 5 years old by September 1 must be enrolled in a kindergarten program this fall or have an approved waiver.

Student Chromebooks Will Remain At School/A partir de hoy, los Chromebooks se mantendrán en la escuela

Students in grades 2-5 will be keeping their Chromebook at school.  All Chromebook chargers should be returned to school.

Hersheypark Discounted Ticket Sales

It is time for the PTA's anual discounted Hersheypark Tickets.  Tickets are valid from April, 2022 through January 1, 2023.  

Tickets are $45 for all ages (regular price is $77.80)

Orders are due March 25th.

2022 Summer Programs Registration

Online enrollment requests for summer programs will reopen on March 1 at 6:00 p.m. for the BSAP Summer Institute, Gifted and Talented Summer Institutes for Talent Development, Innovative Pathways High School (Math and Science only), and STARTALK Chinese Language Summer Camp programs.
