Students in grades 3 – 5 will be participating in The Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (
PARCC) assessment in English Language Arts (ELA)/Literacy and Mathematics. The primary purpose of PARCC is to provide high quality assessments of students' progression toward post-secondary readiness and success. PARCC assessments are given in 1-1.5 hour units. Students take multiple units per content area with a total testing time of 4-5 hours for a subject.
Testing sessions will occur in the mornings on the dates listed below:
Grade 3
ELA: 5/3, 5/4, 5/7
Math: 5/17, 5/29, 5/30, 6/1
Grade 4
ELA: 4/30, 5/1, 5/2
Math: 5/21, 5/22, 5/23, 5/24
Grade 5
ELA: 4/25, 4/26, 4/27
Math: 5/8, 5/9, 5/11, 5/14
