All Howard County public schools will close 90 minutes early today, Friday, Jan. 3 due to forecasted inclement weather. Students will be dismissed per the departure method provided by parents/guardians in Family File for unscheduled early closings.
Deep Run will begin dismissal at 2:20PM. There will be no afternoon classes and all PM sessions of half-day Pre-K and RECC are canceled.
- All aftercare programs in HCPSS schools, sponsored by the Columbia Association and the Howard County Department of Recreation & Parks, are canceled.
- All evening activities involving HCPSS students and staff are canceled. In addition, all community-sponsored programs in HCPSS buildings are canceled.
