Deep Run Elementary School has a tradition of purchasing Thanksgiving meals for families who would not otherwise be able to afford them. Our turkey "Dollar Drive" is all week this week. If every family contributes $1.00, we will raise enough funds for all of our Deep Run families to enjoy the bounties of the holiday season. Happy Thanksgiving!

On Monday, November 13th, DRES will be celebrating World Kindness Day! The goal is for every student to participate in at least one activity that promotes kindness. On this day, students and staff can wear a color of the rainbow or rainbow colors as a reminder to "be the rainbow in someone's cloud!"
