Mission: Deep Run Elementary ensures academic success and social-emotional well-being for each student by celebrating our diversity, setting high expectations, and ensuring equitable access and opportunities for all learners.

A Word from You Administrators
Dear Deep Run Families,
Happy first day of fall! The change of season is always a wonderful reminder of growth and new beginnings, and I’m so grateful we get to experience this time of year together as a school community. Our students have settled into routines, and it’s been exciting to see their energy and enthusiasm for learning.
As we begin this new season, here are a few reminders to help keep everyone on track:
- Attendance Matters – Consistent, on-time attendance makes a big difference in student success. Thank you for helping your child arrive ready to learn each day.
- Dress for the Weather – With cooler mornings and warmer afternoons, please encourage your child to layer clothing. Don’t forget jackets for outdoor recess!
- Stay Connected – Check our school website, weekly updates, and teacher newsletters for upcoming events and classroom news.
- Fall Events – Mark your calendars for the PTA Trunk or Treat and PTA Back to School Picnic and Movie Night. More information will be sent out soon about November conferences.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support as we work together to make this fall a season of growth and success for all students.
Wishing you and your family a wonderful start to autumn!
Warmly,
Nigel La Roche Jerome Pickens Colleen Golden
