Nominee for Vice President:
My name is Jenn Dowler and I am the mom of a Kindergartener, Kayleigh, and I work at Fort Meade. We moved from Severn to Elkridge two years ago and are so happy with our decision. We spent our first year in the school system getting our feet wet and taking in all that the DRES community has to offer. But now, I'm ready to jump in to continue the excellent work the PTA does while we continue our time at DRES.

Mi nombre es Jenn Dowler; soy madre de Kayleigh, una niña que asiste al jardín de infancia, y trabajo en Fort Meade. Nos mudamos de Severn a Elkridge hace dos años y estamos sumamente contentos con nuestra decisión. Pasamos nuestro primer año en el sistema escolar familiarizándonos con el entorno y aprovechando todo lo que la comunidad de DRES tiene para ofrecer. Pero ahora, estoy lista para involucrarme de lleno y dar continuidad a la excelente labor que realiza la PTA mientras seguimos formando parte de la comunidad de DRES.

Secretary Nominee:
Tish Miller has built her career working where human potential meets organizational performance, not as an observer, but as someone who has done the work from the inside out. As both an internal leader and external consultant at some of the most demanding organizations in the country, including Google, PwC, Slalom, and Citigroup, she developed a firsthand understanding of what leadership costs and what it makes possible. At Slalom, Tish founded the Washington DC office’s first Black employee engagement group, an effort that expanded into chapters across major offices nationwide. She did similar work at Google, building community and belonging in environments where both required real courage to create.
Today, through her independent coaching and consulting practice, Tish works with leaders at pivotal moments in their careers, helping them get clear on who they are and show up with confidence in the roles that matter most to them.
Tish lives in Howard County, Maryland with her husband Daniel, their two children, and Evan the cat.

Tish Miller ha forjado su carrera trabajando en el punto donde el potencial humano confluye con el desempeño organizacional; no como una mera observadora, sino como alguien que ha realizado el trabajo desde las entrañas mismas de las organizaciones. Tanto en su rol de líder interna como de consultora externa en algunas de las organizaciones más exigentes del país —incluyendo Google, PwC, Slalom y Citigroup—, desarrolló una comprensión de primera mano sobre el costo que conlleva el liderazgo y todo aquello que este hace posible. En Slalom, Tish fundó el primer grupo de participación para empleados afroamericanos en la oficina de Washington D.C., una iniciativa que posteriormente se expandió mediante la creación de capítulos en las principales oficinas de la empresa a nivel nacional. Realizó una labor similar en Google, fomentando el sentido de comunidad y pertenencia en entornos donde la creación de ambos elementos exigía un verdadero acto de valentía.
En la actualidad, a través de su práctica independiente de coaching y consultoría, Tish trabaja con líderes que atraviesan momentos cruciales en sus carreras, ayudándoles a clarificar su identidad y a desempeñarse con confianza en aquellos roles que revisten la mayor importancia para ellos.
Tish reside en el condado de Howard, Maryland, junto a su esposo Daniel, sus dos hijos y Evan, el gato de la familia.
