The Howard County Recreation and Parks Office has scheduled several fall activities for elementary students that will be held at Deep Run either before or after school. Due to the extreme heat, the kindergarten event will now be at the Old Waterloo Park where there is a pavillion and shaded playground.

HCPSS will continue its free food service program to meet the growing need to feed hungry children and families in Howard County and fill the nutritional gap. All meals will be provided at no cost to HCPSS students during the 2021-2022 school year.

Any student who borrowed a Chromebook last year will continue to use that device during the 2021-2022 school year. Every student new to HCPSS will receive a chromebook; parents/guardians do not need to do anything to request this device.
